Ellicott Baptist Church

David grew up in a small farming community just outside of Ottawa, Kansas. His parents attended church faithfully and he had the opportunity of hearing the gospel at a very young age. When he was four years old, he realized his need for salvation, he went down stairs in our old farm house and told his father he wanted to ask Jesus to come into his heart. He took his Bible and explained to David God's gift of salvation. That day he became a child of God. When David was nine years old, a missionary came by his church and shared his burden and calling for the people of Kenya. God used that experience to convict his heart about His will for David's life. A few months later he surrendered his heart to serve Him as a missionary to Kenya. After he graduated from high school, he attended Heritage Baptist College. During his senior year, he met his wife and they were married eleven months later.

Katy was raised in a Christian home in Yukon, OK. She was exposed to the gospel from the time she was born; however, she did not receive Christ as my Savior until she was fourteen years old. In the summer of 2008, she attended a youth conference where Pastor Rick Dawson gave his salvation testimony. She realized that she was lost and on her way to Hell, and at the end of the service she went forward and accepted Christ as her personal Savior. When she was a junior in High school she surrendered to God's will for her life.
