Mark and Linda DeBolt
Pastor DeBolt grew up in Sheridan, WY in a
family with two older and one younger brother. After a four year
enlistment in the United States Air Force, he attended six years of
Pharmacy School where he earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2003.
God brought Pastor DeBolt to Colorado where he worked in Canon City as a
pharmacist for 13 years. It was shortly after moving to Canon City that
Pastor DeBolt visited a Baptist church and for the first time in his
life heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Shortly thereafter,
Pastor DeBolt accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. God later
called to him to preach and to be a church planter after hearing a
message during a Baptist Heritage conference.
Pastor DeBolt met his wife Linda when God brought her to Colorado to
teach in a Christian school. Linda was saved in 2006 and graduated from
West Coast Baptist College in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Secondary
Education.
Pastor DeBolt and his wife have six children, Allisyn 18, Dawson 15,
Emily 8, Nathaniel 4, Titus 3, and Abigail 2. The youngest four children
God gave through foster care and has allowed them to be a permanent part
of the DeBolt family through adoption.
Pastor DeBolt and his family have been serving at their sending church,
Penrose Baptist Church in Penrose, CO for the last six years working
with the youth group and conducting an addictions ministry.
In January 2016 God called Pastor Keith Bates of Penrose Baptist Church
to start a church in Monument, CO. Pastor DeBolt and his family have
been involved with the church in Monument from the very beginning. In
October of 2016 God called Pastor DeBolt to take over the work full
time. He has since quit his job as a pharmacist and has relocated to the
Monument area to pastor Victory Baptist Church.
