While on a missions trip to Mexico in 1962, Don Frazier saw a great need for the Word of God. The Lord spoke to him through Psalm 126:6.
| He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:6 |
With the help of local church pastors, Don Frazier was able to get printing ministries started in several American churches. Over the years these original ministries have expanded to what they are today, and we are blessed to be apart of these ministries.
World Missions Bearing Precious Seed is a ministry of Maranatha Baptist Church of St. Robert Missouri. We are an independent Baptist printing ministry helping independent Baptist Churches of like faith get the gospel to their missionaries around the world.
We are not in this ministry alone. We rely heavily on the prayer of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. In addition to the prayer support we receive, we also rely on monetary support and the invaluable labor provided by our seed line churches. The monetary support is used to finance the printing of John and Romans, and the seed line churches aid us by helping to prepare and distribute these copies of the Word of God.
We print only the books of John and Romans. We do this because it enables us to put a very clear presentation of the Gospel into the hands of a lost soul for about ten cents.
